1st Silicon
The semiconductor industry requires specialized and precision handling due to the highly sensitive nature of its products. We are proud to be one of the pioneers in Sarawak to handle large scale project logistics for Sarawak’s first fabrication plant in the Samajaya Free Industrial Zone, 1st Silicon.
From the year 2000, East Coast successfully co-ordinated the complex destination handling and movements involved in the setting-up of the plant. The project included highly sensitive cargo, as well as heavy lift and over-size cargoes.
Our customer enjoyed full visibility over all aspects of this project movement which was delivered on time and within budget. Total job capacity comprised of unloading for more than 60 aircraft cargo-loaded with a total tonnage of 2800 tonnes.
